CROSS-BORDER RELOCATION

GRG executed the cross-border relocation of a center differential assembly and test line over 9 months, moving the system from Michigan to Mexico. This initiative involved decommissioning, reinstallation, and commissioning while developing a decommissioning strategy that aligned with customer production demands. The project included re-engineering the machine layout to accommodate new plant constraints, ensuring optimal performance in the new environment. GRG strategically split the relocation into four phases to align with the customer’s production schedule and reduce bank build, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to minimizing operational disruption during the transition.
